Clipboard in my head

Copying/cutting and pasting is a big deal for me in computing (doing work in computers). It helps me do more with less effort.

But only today, I've realized a very amusing thing about this "habit": I've always kept to mind that I have copied something in my clipboard (an abstract term in computing; it's a place where your copied/cut text or image in the computer goes into), making sure that I have already pasted it where I should before copying/cutting another item. I somehow am always careful not to overwrite what I have placed in the clipboard before I use it.

It's a bit weird being that I already have Ditto* installed, a free clipboard management(?) software that helps me keep several items in my clipboard, even after system reboot. I suspect though, that Ditto is a culprit. Because being that it keeps clipboard items in 10 places which I could "access" by using hotkeys/shortcut keys, I have always kept track of what I copied, being aware of the order in which they have been copied :'o (for example, you could use Ctrl+1 for the last item copied, Ctrl+2 for the one before that, etc...)
Weird.

I'm realizing bit by bit that I'm integrating with this computer more and more into my own system. The Matrix has me.

[while working on this blog entry, I copied these items into the clipboard:

*Beyond the 10

the last 10 items copied could be pasted on a selected place via hotkeys/shortcut keys

*Beyond the last 10 items copied into the clipboard that could be pasted on a selected place via hotkeys/shortcut keys, Ditto could keep thousands of copied items in it. And it's searchable.
